Registration for the Mid Valley Southkey Charity Run 2026 closes at 11:59pm on 1 September. Race day is Saturday, 12 September, 7:00am, at the outdoor car park of The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey. JomRun is the official platform. The theme this year is Crazy Accessories. A portion of every fee goes to HOPE worldwide Malaysia.
What you get for the fee
JomRun lists a running tee by HNDRD plus vouchers and goodies from participating brands. Size charts are on the event page. Exchanges are not offered after you submit. Read the chart before you tap pay. The official fee graphic is also on JomRun. Do not screenshot a reseller listing.
Race packs are collected 10 and 11 September only, 10am to 9pm, at the South Information Counter on the Ground Floor. Bring a valid confirmation receipt and your identity card. The organiser says there is no collection outside those two days. If you cannot make Thursday or Friday, do not register on the assumption you can pick up on Saturday morning.
The course and the dress code
This is a 5km fun run, not a chip-timed road race. Mid Valley Southkey's Instagram posted the official loop around the mall's outdoor car park. You will be looping the building, not heading out to the Tebrau Highway. Wear the wildest legal accessories you own. Neon sleeves, odd eyewear, loud headbands. There is a Most Imaginative Attire prize. Leave spikes at home. Car-park tarmac in September heat is the real hazard.
Flag-off is 7:00am. Build in time for the toilet queue and a bag drop if the itinerary poster still shows one on the day. Photograph the itinerary at the counter when you collect your pack. Printed posters beat a cached phone screenshot.
Parking, MVClub, and the charity
The first 1,000 MVClub members who register get three hours of free parking on event day. Enter the mobile number tied to your MVClub account at registration. The voucher is credited the day after you sign up. On race morning, open the MVClub app, go to My Rewards, and use it there. If you register as a guest without that number, you pay normal parking.
HOPE worldwide Malaysia has run health, food, education, and volunteer programmes for urban poor families since 2000. The JomRun page is clear that a portion of the fee funds those programmes. This is still a mall fun run with a theme. Dress up, collect the tee, and treat the donation as the point rather than a footnote.
The mall itself is at Mid Valley Southkey, Johor Bahru, a short drive from the CIQ for Singapore day-trippers who already shop SOGO and Village Grocer. Race morning is not a shopping morning. Come back after you have showered. Maybank Singapore tourist privileges at the mall run through 31 December 2026 if you are crossing for retail rather than the 5km.
Register on JomRun before 1 September 11:59pm, Malaysia time. After that the form closes.
